Obtaining the highest number of votes in the general election held in 2010. Honorable Mahindananda Aluthgamage entered the political arena following the demise of his father, late Honorable M. S. Aluthgamage who was a renowned politician who was a member of the parliament of Sri Lanka from the year 1970 - 1977. He was born in 1964, Educated at a leading Public School of Sri Lanka, Royal College Colombo 07. The illustration political career of Hon.
